Very good dry red wine with mixed black and red berries over mocha, white pepper and vanilla. The fruit has medium plus concentration and leads to a long finish. The medium tannins are very ripe and well integrated. Drink now and for 7-8 years, will improve in cellar for 2-3 years.

Pedro Ximenez 2012 by Viña Falernia

Good plus dry white wine with lemon zest and granny smith apples over a touch of orange blossom and mineral note. The wine has medium plus acidity which brings balance to the sweetish fruit. The fruit has good concentration and leads to a medium finish. Drink now and for 1-2 years. note site was under construction when note was published.

Carmenere Syrah Reserva 2011 by Vina Falernia

IMG_0806 Grape Variety: 60% Carmenere, 40% Syrah

Very good wine with dark black current and rich black plums over baking spice and an earthy leather note. The medium plus tannins are ripe and rounded. The fruit has medium plus concentration, 1/3 of the Carmenere was air dried before fermentation. The finish is medium plus and sweet. Drink now and for 5 years.

Carmenère Reserva 2010 by Viña Falernia

Very good wine with ripe black cherry and blueberries over sweet baking spice and a fresh forest note. The fruit intensity and concentration are both medium plus. The medium chalky tannins balance the medium acidity giving good firm structure. The wine has good complexity. The finish is medium plus and adds a chocolate note. Drink now and for 3-4 years.
