Don Melchor 1990 by Concha y Toro

Very good plus wine with medium fruit intensity of ripe black berries and notes of cigar box, eucalyptus, sweet jam note, smoky salami and new saddle leather. The medium tannins are very well resolved. The wine has good fruit concentration and has held up well. Medium plus finish. Drink now it has begun to fade.

Margaux 1991 by Viña Carmen

Good plus wine with rich dark plum and black current notes over baking spice, leather, tar, mint and an earthiness. The medium minus tannins are smooth and with the 14% alc still give good structure. The fruit has medium minus intensity and concentration. The finish is medium. The wine is fading but still pleasurable, drink now.
