Almaviva 2008 by Baron Philippe de Rothschild and Concha y Toro

Grape Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon: 66%, Carménère: 26%, Cabernet Franc: 8%

Outstanding wine with dark plums, cassis, blueberries, a herbal note, sweet baking spice and a mineral note. The fruit intensity is high and very concentrated. The tannins are high and mature with the medium plus alcohol this structure is very balanced and will age very well. The finish is long, the wine has great complexity that will improve with age. This will drink well in 15 years or more.
